CHRIST GAVE THE VICTORY TO HUANCAYO!

On May the 29th, 30th and 31st, the inauguration of the central temple, the celebration of the 25th anniversary and the HD signal of Bethel TV were celebrated and reminded the congregation in Huancayo of all this time of work. The event was supported by the presence of the international President of the Worldwide Missionary Movement Reverend, Jose Soto, from Panama; as well as Reverend Rodolfo Gonzalez; National supervisor Reverend Luis Meza Bocanegra; and the national board members. Songs of worship and praise decorated the song service in the ex-coliseum of bulls in Huancayo, that has now become a house of God and gate to heaven. With the passing by of time, this facility has become an oasis for the Huancanian congregation. Reverend Marco Mayta expressed words of gratefulness to the Huancanian people, “This slogan, ‘with Christ We Have the Victory,’ has marked my heart. During the years in this city, I have never complained about the troubles I face. Time and prayer have helped me to stand strong and continue forward. Today I just want to say that wherever the Lord wants to take me, I will go, for He is the reason of my existence,” said Reverend Marco Mayta, presbyter in Huancayo. When we see pastors laying on their knees and praying, sometimes we wonder, “Do they accept the failure, or will they just proclaim victory?” It’s there where you realize that God is the one who has the last word because sometimes that victory comes from a big failure. This shows us clearly that to get a great victory, we cannot enter into disappointment or faith crisis. Indeed, there is always pain and and sorrow, but we need the have clear that these circumstances help us to be better each day. WIIR wishes a happy anniversary to the church of Huancayo and invites you to keep praying for them so that God may be glorifying in this new temple, and He keeps giving them the victory.
