EVANGELISM AND SOCIAL HELP IN PASCUALES - ECUADOR

On December 30th brethren from the Worldwide Missionary Movement Church in Pascuales, Ecuador, went out to the streets to bring spiritual and physical food to the people who live in the streets and under the bridges of the city. They decided that there was no better way to end the year than to share the Word of God with one of the most vulnerable parts of the population, both physically and spiritually. Ps. Luis Quishpe led the evangelism and a large number of brethren gathered together and were present participating in this act of love. The initiative was supported by the biblical text of the book of Matthew in chapter 25:35-45: “For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; (…) Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me, said the Lord. ’’ All of them were touched by the testimonies given by these people who live in the street. They also realized that there is a great need for God in the lives of these people. All the brethren shared the love of God and what He has prepared for them, if they decide to give their lives to Him. After this, they also shared the food they had prepared for them, so that apart from filling their spiritual lives, their physical lives were also full. At the end of the evangelism, everyone returned home with a great burden to pray for the homeless people they met and managed to impact them with the experiences from their lives. "The harvest indeed is great, but the workers are few; therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into His harvest,” Luke 10: 2. WIIR, invites you to pray for the church in Ecuador, so that God will maintain that burden for those who need God and continue helping them to bring more people to the feet of Christ.
