STEPS OF VICTORY- BAPTISM IN SAPOÁ

The church of the WMM, la Concordia celebrated its 23rd anniversary from October the 3rd to the 4th. All the members of this church gathered and celebrated together another year of victories, fights and troubles in which God participated and helped them. The anniversary had as slogan “Praise Him, and Worship His Name for He Has Done Marvelous Things.” Some pastors from Machala and Galapagos supported the event with their presence. God was ministering the lives of each one of the attendees. In the first service, the Word of God was the responsibility of Pastor Wilmer Merino, who spoke under the title “Firm in the Lord,” taking as basis the book of 1st Corinthians 15: 58, where he encouraged everyone to stay firm in the way of the Lord, despite the difficulties that may appear. He also highlighted that the enemy will always want to defeat the believer, but the believer, the true believer, has the blood of Jesus Christ and is designed for resisting. It’s necessary to persevere because God is with us. The one that is firm endures. He who develops his faith can remain firm in this way; faith is something that is there, that God left, that is something very big. The one that has faith and develops it has firmness. In the service the next day, the anointing of God continued, who manifested Himself with power and glory again. The message of the Word of God was the responsibility of Pastor Vanessa Garcia, who took as basis the book of Isaiah 57: 17-21 to speak under the title “The Peace that the World Needs.” The Pastor manifested that the Lord gives a peace in a world does not give it, a peace that overtakes everything. The world calls peace something that provides them safety, stability, a good health, absence of problems. That’s the peace that the world looks after. But life is not perfect. There will always be circumstances that affect the time in the world. When sin grows on the earth, peace keeps away. Only the peace that comes from God is the one that the world needs. WIIR joins this celebration with the brethren in la Concordia, Ecuador and invites you to pray so that God may be taking His Work in this place forward and that He may help them to remain firm and to have peace.
